Gamificación para incrementar la motivación escolar en Educación General Básica Elemental

Resumen

La gamificación se ha propuesto como una vía para aumentar la implicación escolar, pero los resultados dependen de cómo se diseñan los retos, la retroalimentación y las recompensas. El objetivo de este artículo es sintetizar estrategias de gamificación aplicables a Educación General Básica Elemental y establecer criterios para interpretar su contribución a la motivación escolar. Se plantea una revisión de alcance con orientación PRISMA-ScR y marco PCC; se consideran estudios empíricos, revisiones y documentos metodológicos publicados entre 2016 y 2026 en español, inglés o portugués. La síntesis diferencia participación observable, interés, persistencia, autoeficacia y motivación intrínseca, evitando tratarlos como resultados equivalentes. Las revisiones disponibles describen resultados favorables en implicación, motivación y autoeficacia, junto con efectos heterogéneos en aprendizaje y posibles tensiones en la cooperación cuando predominan mecanismos competitivos. La evidencia apunta a que el efecto pedagógico no reside en puntos, insignias o clasificaciones aisladas, sino en su articulación con objetivos curriculares, desafíos graduados, retroalimentación formativa, oportunidades de elección, cooperación estructurada y evaluación de comprensión. Se concluye que la gamificación puede apoyar experiencias motivadoras cuando hace visible el progreso sin etiquetar al alumnado ni convertir el premio en la finalidad de la tarea. Debido a la heterogeneidad de los diseños y las medidas, no se estimó una magnitud común de efecto; el corpus final incluyó 16 fuentes verificadas.
